Cinderella is a perfect example of rags to riches story the heroine goes from destitution forced upon her by her stepmother and being neglected by her own father to marrying the prince and becoming a princess. Although someone cannot go from destitution to being wealthy with magic in the real world, however, someone can achieve that through marriage similar to Cinderella. Someone can be in destitution or relatively poor and marry someone else who is rich or well off and through marriage, the riches can be inherited. This can be realistic in terms of finding someone who is rich and willing to share their wealth. You can also go from being poor to being rich by making companies, Big companies like Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon some of the biggest companies started from nothing and created by college dropouts and rose through the ranks as the most profitable companies of all time. Week 3: The Definition of a Fairytale

Fairytales are an ever-evolving story that can be changed through the beliefs of the culture that is writing it and yet it also is timeless in it the way that it tells its story in how systematic it is. The Brothers Grimm are a great example by how they changed the stories that they collected, an example would be with how they changed sleeping beauty from the original version.
