Blog #4: Rags to Riches

Cinderella is a perfect example of rags to riches story the heroine goes from destitution forced upon her by her stepmother and being neglected by her own father to marrying the prince and becoming a princess. Although someone cannot go from destitution to being wealthy with magic in the real world, however, someone can achieve that through marriage similar to Cinderella. Someone can be in destitution or relatively poor and marry someone else who is rich or well off and through marriage, the riches can be inherited. This can be realistic in terms of finding someone who is rich and willing to share their wealth. You can also go from being poor to being rich by making companies, Big companies like Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon some of the biggest companies started from nothing and created by college dropouts and rose through the ranks as the most profitable companies of all time. Take Apple for example created by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak in what is now called Silicon Valley out of Jobs' Parent's garage and went against giant companies such as IBM and others that wanted nothing more than to put Apple out of business and Apple through innovation became one of the most profitable tech companies on the planet. Going from rags to riches, in this case, takes a lot of luck and smarts and knowing how to corner the market with a product or for the marriage pathfinding someone who is willing to share their wealth.
